The NOPD has arrested two suspects and is searching for two others in a July 1 attack on a pizza delivery man.
The 63-year-old victim was beaten with a baseball bat while delivering pizza to a customer in the 1300 block of S. Prieur Street shortly before 2 a.m. The man, who was struck multiple times, was released after being taken to a hospital for treatment.
Police have arrested 18-year-old Quinn Jones and 19-year-old Milton McCoy. Jones already was being held on charges of simple burglary and probation violation. McCoy was picked up by the Violent Offender Warrant Squad.
Being sought by police are 19-year-old Daneisha Williams, and 21-year-old Christopher Beard.
All four face charges of attempted first-degree robbery and aggravated battery. Each has a prior criminal record.
